As we approach the upcoming holiday season, it ought to be a reminder to us as believers to consider how thankful we are. Giving thanks to God is commanded Biblically and should be natural for those who are redeemed. Psalm 107 states, "Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy." The foundation of our thanksgiving is our recognition of God as our Creator and as our Redeemer.
