God is the giver of every good and perfect gift (James 1:17). One of those great, perfect gifts is the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus stated that it was to the advantage of the disciples that He depart; for when He departed, He would send the Holy Spirit to dwell in them forever. (John 16:7; 14:16-17) The Holy Spirit seals us, confirms us, sanctifies us, enables us, and intercedes for us. What an awesome gift!
